1 box of Duff’s white dessert mix
1½ cups applesauce
3 eggs
1 tsp all spice
¾ cup chopped pecans
½ cup raisins

⅔ cup brown sugar
½ cup corn syrup
¼ heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup chopped pecans
½ tsp vanilla

Prep 10 mins,  Bake 20 min
Yields:  22-24


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray muffins with non-stick cooking spray or use paper liners.

2. Beat dessert mix, applesauce, and eggs and all spice for 2 minutes.

3. Stir in raisins and pecans.

4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

5. Cool completely.

6. For glaze: Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, heavy cream, and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Turn off heat. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Let cool for about 15 minutes.

7. Add wax paper under cooking rack or transfer muffins to wax paper directly on the counter or table.
